Growing up in the windswept and snowy shadows of the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, I dreamed of dancing on Broadway like Danny Kaye. I never could have foreseen the tightrope accident that would abruptly wash away my chances to make it big on the Great White Way. My weak arches didn't help. I turned to my other passion, doodling, and I've never looked back since.
The things that have shaped the person that I am today include my endless fascination with birds, Rankin-Bass TV specials, haunted basements, puppets, licorice, and Disney's Country Bear Jamboree... just to name a few.
Besides making my own collection of printed goods and wearables, I have made stuff for the likes of McGraw Hill Publishing, Target, KEXP, Whole Foods Market, Gama-Go, Hallmark Inc. and Vessel One Drinkware. Not to mention countless show posters for struggling local bands in Seattle, not so struggling bands abroad, editorial illustrations, logos, characters and fliers to promote my Grandma's weekly bridge club.
